Yep, that’s right – Little Korboose is going to be featured in a new book! To top it off, the book is all about my favorite topic: SCREEN-PRINTING!

I was invited to be a contributor for this new book by the lovely Jenny Doh :: Founder + President of STUDIO CRESCENDOh out of Santa Ana CA, Speaker/Instructor/Motivator, Artist, and Author of several works! She is quite accomplished to say the least. The book is called Print Collective :: Similar + Different and will be hitting stores in May 2013. Please see below for a brief description of this new collaborative. YAY!!!

PRINT COLLECTIVE :: SIMILAR & DIFFERENT
In recent years, printmaking, and screenprinting in particular, has been experiencing a huge renaissance among crafters, artists, and designers. The popularity of designer printed fabrics, limited edition runs of tees, art prints, and more has fed the interest and encouraged crafters to want to learn the basics themselves. A number of books have come out on the market, but one of the key things they lack is diversity in aesthetics and approaches to the topic. This book will go at the topic from a completely new angle by gathering approximately 10 talented figures in screenprinting, showcasing their particular time-tested methods through step-by-step photos and 2 projects that demonstrate their signature techniques.

Little Korboose products have recently been picked up by a cute little shop in Brooklyn, NY : Annie’s Blue Ribbon General Store. (Woohoo!) Owner, Ann Lopatin opened this lovely shop in 2007 and describes it as “a modern general store for a well-lived life, combining the charm of a country general store with the sophistication of a modern city lifestyle.” The shop carries a variety of super fun goodies that range from Art Supplies to Wedding and Bridal items.

Annie’s is located in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn at 365 State Street, on the corner of State and Bond. Store Hours are 11am – 7pm Tuesday – Saturday & 12pm– 6pm Sundays. Stop by and check it out!

We will be set up all day Saturday + Sunday, ready to sell you some ECO friendly goods! The Little Korboose tent will be located directly across from Aladdin’s (how opportune – it’s my fave). Hope to see you there!
